Dr. Han Yung Wen
Family Medicine Specialist (MBBChBAO, Ireland; M.MEDFAmMed, UM)
Dr. Han received her medical degree (MB BCh BAO) from University of Dublin / Penang Medical College in 2003. After completing her service at government hospital, she was awarded a scholarship by UiTM for post-graduate studies at University of Malaya. She was awarded Master of Family Medicine by UM in 2014. Currently, she is a Primary Care Specialist based at Malaysian Science and Management University (MSU) in which she also lectures and guides graduate students in medicine. Dr. Han will be called upon to check on medical conditions of the children in addition to psychological services provided by The Happy Leaves. This holistic approach is essential to ensure children are diagnosed and treated accurately.
Mr. Edward Hoh Sam Joon
Clinical Psychologist (M.Clin. Psych; BPsych Hons.)
Mr. Edward is a registered clinical psychologist under the American Psychological Association (Member ID: 00171997), Persatuan Psikologi Malaysia (Member ID: 2170000216) and Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (Member ID: CP1-0194) as well as an associate with SOLS Health where he completed his practicum training under the supervision of director and clinical psychologist, Ms. Ellisha Othman. Mr. Edward has worked in the field of special needs since 2013 and is passionate about improving the lives of children with learning difficulties. He has primarily worked with children on the autistic spectrum and has experienced providing education for preschool children. Mr. Edward has also been trained to work with adults who struggle with psychological concerns.
Ms. Whitney Yong Kai Jun (Setia Alam)
Centre Manager/Child Psychologist (M. Child Psych; B. Soc. Sc. Hons. Psych)
Ms. Whitney is a child psychologist graduated from UCSI University. She has completed her practicum training in with us, The Happy Leaves, and has been receiving supervision from our clinical psychologists. Ms. Whitney has worked in the field of special needs since 2018 as a personal learning assistant and behavioral therapist. She believes that early intervention is important and looks forward in helping special needs children to receive intervention as early as possible.
Ms Seet Mian Mian (Setia Alam)
Senior Therapist (BA in Psychology (UM,USA); Master ChildPsych (UCSI))
Ms. Mian Mian pursued her Bachelor's degree in the United States and subsequently graduated with a Master's in Child Psychology. Ms. Mian has worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Happy Leaves for the past 3 years. In this role, she specializes in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), speech delays, and dyslexia. Her experience involves implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of each child, focusing on behavior modification and skill development.
Ms. Olive Tay Xiao Ying (Setia Alam)
Senior Therapist/Developmental Disorder Specialist (BA (Hons) in Psychology, UTAR; Master Developmental Disorders, University of Nottingham Malaysia)
Olive holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University Tunku Abdul Rahman and pursued Master's in Developmental Disorders in University of Nottingham Malaysia. With three years of experience as a Behavior Therapist at The Happy Leaves, she specialize in working with children and teenagers diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, ODD, GDD and others.
Ms. Prudence Li Lin Phong (Kelana Jaya)
Clinical Psychologist (M. Clin Psy, Help University; BSC in Psych (Minor in ABA and Global General Business), Troy University, USA)
Ms Prudence is a registered clinical psychologist in Malaysia (Member ID: MAHPC(CP)00470). She began her career as an ABA therapist, focusing on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and later pursued a Master of Clinical Psychology to expand her expertise to adult mental health. She is trained in psychological assessments and psychotherapy for various populations, addressing issues like depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, and ADHD. Ms. Prudence uses a humanistic approach, values therapeutic alliances, and adapts treatment plans based on client feedback and needs.
Ms Nurin Batrisyia Mohd Fauzi (Kelana Jaya)
Behaviour therapist/interventionist (B.Psy. (Hons) in Child and Family Psychology, UMS)
Ms Nurin, a graduate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with a degree in Child and Family Psychology, brings a wealth of experience in nurturing children's growth. With a deep passion for her work, she tailors strategies to each child, offering personalized support and creating fun, engaging activities to boost development in communication, cognition, and social-emotional skills. Constantly learning and evolving in her field, Nurin is dedicated to delivering the best care. She believes that every child learns at their own pace takes pride in celebrating even the smallest achievements, knowing that these build confidence for bigger successes.
Dr. Ellie Han Yung Lin
Clinical Psychologist (PhD in Psych; M.Clin. Psych; Bsc. Hons Psych)
Ellie is a registered clinical psychologist under American Psychological Association (00143894), British Psychological Society (432038) and Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (CP1- 0206). Apart from being our in-house clinical psychologist, she is also an associate to some NGOs such as SOLS Health and Dignity for Children Foundation. Previously, Ellie practiced at Hospital Kajang and Hospital Selayang where she handled majority of child assessment cases. She has in-depth knowledge and works well with learning difficulties children. She also provide adult therapy services, especially in the area of depression and other mood-related disorders.
Ms. Lee Mei Li
Clinical Psychologist (M. Clin. Psych; Bsc.Hons Psych).
Ms. Mei Li is a registered clinical psychologist under the American Psychological Association (00154656) and Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (CP1-0189). She has experience providing psychological assessments and interventions for children, adolescents and adult individuals with different mental health concerns. Ms. Mei Li is passionate about mindfulness and self-compassion as she believed that loving kindness is important for overall mental wellbeing. She obtained a postgraduate certificate in therapeutic play skills offered by Play Therapy United Kingdom (PTUK).
Ms. How Sher Yi (Setia Alam)
Co-Supervisor; Senior Therapist (BSc (Hons) Psych, Sunway University)
Sher Yi hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sunway University and have been a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2017. Over the past six years, I've gained valuable experience working with children aged 3 to 18 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and developmental delays. Currently, I serve as a Senior Behavior Therapist at The Happy Leaves, where I am dedicated to applying evidence-based strategies to support individuals with special needs. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in their lives by fostering growth and independence through compassionate care and effective interventions.
Ms. Goh Pei Xin
Music Therapist (BA in Musicology, SHCM)
Pei Xin is a music therapy graduate of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, China. She has been with us since her internship in September 2021. Pei Xin believes that childhood is the most significant time of one’s life. She is working towards creating happy and healthy memories while growing together with the kids through the power of music. Currently, she is pursuing Master of Arts in Music Therapy in Chulalongkorn University for professional development.
Ms. Nur Nadieyana Bt Abdul Rahman (Kelana Jaya)

Ms Dieyana, a graduate with an M.A. in Applied Linguistics with TESOL from The University of Sheffield (UK), brings extensive experience to her role. With a background in teaching, researching, training, and therapy, she excels in engaging with individuals across diverse levels and backgrounds. She focuses on working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Speech Delay, Learning difficulties and Cognitive impairment. Dyana is dedicated to fostering growth and development, and her proactive approach and commitment to enhancing each individual's potential, regardless of their abilities, reflect her deep belief in their capacity for progress.
Ms. Grace Chiew Xin Yu (Setia Alam)
Junior Therapist (BS (Hons) in Education of Special Needs (National Tsing Hua University))
Grace Chiew, a Special Needs Education graduate from National Tsing Hua University, joins Happy Leaves Centre as a therapist with two years of experience in Early Intervention Programs. Committed to inclusive education, she advocates for personalized interventions and collaboration. Passionate about empowering individuals, Grace aims to make a positive impact through patience, empathy, and dedication, fostering inclusive environments and supporting growth in those she serves.
Ms Noor Ainulhayati Athirah (Kelana Jaya)
Head of Early Intervention Programme / Behaviour Therapist (Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (Hons), UNITAR)
Ainul graduated from UNITAR with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a passionate Early Interventionist dedicated to helping children learn and grow. She creates a nurturing environment, tailors intervention methods to individual needs, such as ABA therapy and ESDM approaches and uses creative approaches like art. She finds fulfillment in seeing children communicate and thrive under her guidance, committed to helping each child reach their full potential.
Ms Soh Zhi Xuan (Kelana Jaya)
Behaviour therapist/interventionist (Bachelor in Psych (Hons), UPSI)
Zhi Xuan holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) and brings valuable experience as both a kindergarten teacher for children with special needs and an intern at a marriage, family, and child therapy center. She is committed to guiding children in mastering daily life skills and reaching their full potential through individualized support, structured routines, and personalized therapeutic interventions. Her approach is rooted in the developmental milestone framework, promoting cognitive, emotional, expressive, and social growth.
